Defza might think the radio station is rubbish but no matter what your taste in music I think it was a brilliant campaign by 5FM.
The SABC have a good Marketing/PR team, look at what they did with Mark Gillman and Nigel Pierce not too long ago.
Heck, I even went to the lonely finger website to see what it was about. Word spread around the blogosphere too. Eg: Saleeha (2009 Bestseller) mentioned Lonely finger in here post about VD, Valentine’s Day, not the disease.
