We have have started the production of new Open CD’s, so don’t worry if
your CD pack has not arrived yet – we are aware of this and you will be
receiving it with in the next 3 weeks. News of the new Geek kits has
been a hit, with many people asking for more details and how to get
their hands on one. OK, the kit includes a sports laptop bag (laptop
section is detachable), the Go-Open DVD of the television show, a 12
month subscription to Tectoninc magazine (curteousy of Tectonic, many
thanks to them!). All you have to do to receive a kit is load 10
different computers with open source software and explain to the users a
little bit more about OSS. Then you need to log the install on the GFL
website. We check installs, so please provide all contact details of
your installee. These Geek kits are limited, so hurry with your installs
as they are going to absolutely fly.
