i also experience the same problem but it got solve after i called vodacom call centre (118 or 111) the will give you a number to call but is not free, and this happens because you have joined sms download that you see on tv to download songs
I also heard that problem.I called 111 and they helped me to trace who was taking my money.They were able to ,then they gave me their number.I called them and I was so angy because I didnt give them the permission to take my money.So eversince they dont take my airtime.You should try that

I did not know about that defza website, but I found another similar one – http://www.freevodasms.co.za – it also lets you send Vodacom SMSes from your Cellphone through your Vodacom4me account. It is a bit different to defza though – you can bookmark a contact (or sending profile )and load the page to send a message instantly, it’s nice and quick – very good for sending messages to my girlfriend and I set it up so that she can contact me for free as well.

Before i write my letter to the newspaper and phone the radio talk show hosts I want to know WHY tonight on the 1st November, 2008 it was impossible to connect with the emergancy 112? All my phone kept saying was ATTEMPTING TO CONNECT WITH EMERGANCY NUMBER???????? There was nothing wrong with my phone or signal as i immediatly phoned another numer and the call went though….
