All my phone kept saying was ATTEMPTING TO CONNECT WITH EMERGANCY NUMBER???????? There was nothing wrong with my phone or signal as i immediatly phoned another numer and the call went though.... I wanrt an explanation? It is a bit different to defza though - you can bookmark a contact (or sending profile )and load the page to send a message instantly, it's nice and quick - very good for sending messages to my girlfriend and I set it up so that she can contact me for free as well.
