Do not download new mxit from anwhere but the official mxit website. Yes, it might look good but the non official mxit could be used to steal your personal information and could be sold to companies that will spam your inbox!
If its not from MXit.co.za, its not the real thing. Not yet anyway. Unofficial versions are not supported by MXit.co.za.

Hi, i download mxit on my mobile(nokia 7610) from mxit site. it runs perfectly. But im having difficulties registering. I get “please enter a valid cell number” i enterd the correct country code(960), ive tried many different ways. But havnt been able to register. Please help. It would be great if u could reply by email. Thanks a lot in advance

Windows Vista CAN run MXit PC, but you have to have registered with a mobile phone and use that PIN and number to have access to your contacts. Just go to http://www.mxit.co.za on the computer you wish to download it to.

Yes it was true. There was an older pirated version of Mxit three that showed you all numbers regardless of whether they were hidden or not. Unfortunately Mxit has blocked all versions of Mxit 3 so it doesn’t work anymore
Ya, you need to use the sim-card/number that u used to register to send the sms to the mxit number and am not so sure about the country dialing code situation but i would guess u need to use it (+27)
