Why Google rule Search

3 Comments 21 July 2006

I could quote their financial report for 2nd quater 2006 earnings but we have Forbes or Google finance for that. (It’s $721.1million incase you we’re wondering) Already blogged Google’s 9 Principles of innovation.

The real reason Google rules search is simple. Google is not the most important thing online, you are, and they know know this, “It’s users, not money.” Should that be “It’s YOUsers not money” ? So they give you all the goodness for free: free software, email hosting or a simple, don’t make me think ;) j9, user interface. They have even ported alot of the Google services to your mobile phones without the ads. Google build their applications for tomorrow, today.
When will we be seeing a “in Google we trust” currency?

Have you read these yet?

Yeah.. but there’s a strong backlash against everything Google. A lot of people are very, very anti them (not me). They feel google are up to sinister things! (cue doctor evil laugh)

Plus, Yahoo is doing a lot of good things too. And their web “apps” are prettier :D
