Standard Bank’s cost up – Microsoft roll-out

Standard Bank’s roll-out of Microsoft operating systems across its entire network has resulted in hardware and software cost increases, which are in line with expectations, says the bank’s COO Alewyn Burger.

They say you get what you expect. Rolling out an operating system with flaws that are considered a threat to US National Security at a bank of all places, nice one. I can now understand why they changed their Simpler. Better. Faster. tagline.
