In response to the email Your Web AddiCT(s); just sent our best ISP ever. Took them 30 minutes to reply, not bad compared to our SMS service provider who has not responded to a support request I’ve sent them yesterday.

Dear Rafiq

Thank you for your email.

If you consistently go over your allocated bandwidth quota, please consider moving the affected domains to our German hosting facility. You will get 100000 GB of bandwidth per month on your Master account (rafiq.za.net) for no additional cost except a once off migration fee of R49.

Support will still be handled by the South African team and your FTP and email details wont change either.

Ok so maybe he didn’t get what I was trying to say in the email. Yes the message is cryptic but heck, You assisted us in writing our elevator speech how about some assistance in re-writing the Locally Hosted Thought email? In the mean time I’ve requested they forward the email to their supperiors.

There is a new blog that is about to burst out into the right SERP’s. Will let you know after mosque…

Have you read these yet?

I have a similar issue, wanting to start up three .co.za blogs for customers expecting strong traffic growth. i don’t see a viable option here so i’d actually prefer to host them in the US. but so far I haven’t even found a registrar in SA who would let me transfer the (existing) domains to them and then point the DNS records to my host in the US. any clue on that?

TYFYC Peter – Update your DNS manually with whoever you host with in the US. WHo do you host with in the US?

Ensure you are using a .co.za domain name if you want relevant search results from South African Googlers if you are planning to host abroad.
