During a telecon with our Broadband guy, Giovanni, he asked how the ADSL was going… What ADSL? apparently they were supposed to install our DSL line in our office today!

ADSL , mmmmm ……i have a 1024 line at work, just as fast as my 384 line at home , but then hey , that Telkom for you ……

TYFYC Shafick – We’re getting the 384 line here at the office for now aswell. How is the uptime on your ADSL at home? The only reason we’re changing to ADSL is because our wireless is as stable as a female pshych patient with PMS.

I Live in Mitchells Plain, 4 km from the exchange and if i leave the Adsl on then after about 2 days sometime i get kicked off if i am idle to long.
Download speeds at home is average 39 kB/sec on 384 and at work on the 1024 line between 40-108 kB/sec. My home line is more stable and consisted than the work one, maybe Mitchells Plain exchange is better ,lol……

Why is it that Telkom,s opposition ,namely Neotel, isn,t up and runnning yet . Coulld it have something
to do with competition, i wonder?

i think neotel is just one of those talk alot do less, when i called them up for one of my customers who is running a business in rondebosch who was interested in getting ADSL through neotel and moving away from TElkom guest what they say after holding and waiting also for some thime on the phone and i qoute “We dont offer ADSL, but we can provide you dial up” we living in a time of advance technology who wants to use dialup, my 4meg line in mitchells plain from Telkom is the most stable line no problems dowloads are like heaven.
