Microsoft plans to ‘support’ SuSE?

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Microsoft Corp. is expected to announce Thursday that it’s partnering with Novell Inc. to support Linux, an open-source software alternative to Microsoft’s own computer operating system, according to a report on the Wall Street Journal’s Web site.

    i find it odd aswell… yet it could be a new strategy from MS to put their foot in the open source market.. SuSe could come bundled with a Linux version of IE, WMP and other MS products…

    Microsoft has spent ten years bashing the free-of-charge open-source Linux operating system and trying to kill it. Now Microsoft is making nice.
