Telkom gets a R2billion bill

0 Comments 23 November 2006

Telkom faces more than R2 billion in damages and legal fees after it lost a five-year legal battle against United States-based computer software supplier Telcordia.Between R2bn and R2,5bn

Telkom’s costs, which have been estimated by Telcordia at between R2-billion and R2,5-billion, represent more than 20 percent of this financial year’s annual profit of R9,3-billion.

R9,3 Billion…. thats alot of people waiting, waiting, waiting for their DSL line to be installed. I think we need to put a NeoTelN sign up outside our office just incase the Telkom guys get lost.
Telkom: How about this… cut the billions of profit and re-invest that into hiring MORE technicians and upgrading ‘OUR’ infrastructure. ‘OUR’ being any south african that uses a landline or broadband internet.
Your Web AddiCT(s); Neotel dream: Next day ADSL installation, even next week DSL installation instead of next year.
