2 Comments 27 March 2007

Congratulations on being chosen as a Fellow for TEDGlobal 2007 “Africa: the next chapter.  Your complimentary registration is now complete.

So excited about this, I’m sure the 100 other TED Global 2007 fellows are too .

Passport not sorted yet. Will get to the proper authoorites as soon as I have a chance.

Something else that might be important is…

IMMUNIZATION: Please check with your local health authorities to confirm immunization requirements and obtain necessary inoculations.

Is there a doctor reading this blog? What immunization shots are required for a South African travelling to Tanzania?

laptop badYour Web AddiCT will be blogging from TEDglobal2007, we’ve been notified that wi-fi will be available. Got an awesome laptop bag thanks to the geek freedom league. Now all it needs is a new notebook/laptop to fill it up with.

We’ll keep our fingers crossed for the SA blog Awards, the Dell Inspiron 9400 looks so sweet. Stii, if we win the Dell, yes *that* is the first thing I’ll do to it :) What is this TED story anyways? Read more about TED Global 2007 here.

I spoke to the Tanazania High Commission – you need to get immunization upon returning to South Africa. In the mean time get yourself a passport.

Of course. This Doctor has a Google Alert. It’s usually Yellow Fever – and take malaria tablets.
