Twitterbook: Automated update of Twitter using your Facebook status

Comments 09 May 2007

You’ve got Facebook & Twitter.

What do they have in common? They’ve both got this little thing called your Status. Maybe Twitter only has your status but yeah.

Been spending some time on Facebook lately and was wondering: What if you could update your twitter status with your facebook status automatically?

A quick Google, not search, I actually Googled ‘twitter facebook status’ and what do you know. If you’d like to update your twitter staus with your facebook status on the fly all you need is access to a web server running php (your website or self-hosted blog), twitterbook and a cron. (What is a cron?)

More info on automated Twitter/Facebook status updates here.

Haven’t tested it out yet, it’s my birthday today so spending time with family and friends that doesn’t involve being online. Thanks for all for the happy bday facebook wall messages.
