Innovation

Your Web AddiCT to show & tell @ TED Global 2007

Comments 17 May 2007

There was a call from the TEDsters for all intersted to do a 3 minute talk at TED Global 2007.

Hash’s (White African, Afrigadget, African Signals) application was accepted a few days ago but still there was no response to my application entitled: “Innovation through constraints” until this email…

Dear Rafiq,

Emeka has forwarded me your application for a three minute talk. What I would like to propose in place of a three minute talk is the opportunity to interact with the TED Community during one of the session breaks which is 45 minutes in length. I am forwarding you a copy of the original request for submissions so that you have all the details. Please let me know if you are interested in this opportunity and I would be happy to add you to the schedule.

So after applying for a 3 minute talk, 45 minutes have been awarded to engage with the TEDsters!

The opportunity: a 45 minute time slot to show and tell your story to the TEDCommunity. A chance to exhibit what you have accomplished and what you are working on. Submit your best ideas of what you would display and the compelling way you will communicate your ideas and vision. Be engaging… be creative! Think about a small, portable display, either visual or a presentation on your computer or both- whatever best fits your message.

Now I’m even more exciTED! I’d like to make this the most memorable show and tell at TED Global 2007 & need your assistance. If anyone is intrested in assisting us in any way feel free to drop me an email via the contact form or posting a comment below.
