Africa ICT Achievers nominations open

1 Comment 12 July 2007

It’s time for the annual African ICT Achievers Awards – jointly organised by ICT research house, ForgeAhead, and the South African Department of Communications – and nominations are now open.

Wouldn’t we all like to see the best and the most deserving duly recognised for their achievements? But for that to happen, we need you to make a small effort – and nominate them.

We would like to invite and encourage you to participate in nominating individuals, organisations or any public sector department you may feel worthy of recognition.

The ICT Achievers Awards recognises top individuals and organisations which have contributed to the development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) across the whole of Africa, increased service delivery through ICT and created a better understanding of the use of technology to the benefit of all Africans.

This year’s theme, “Making the African Century a reality, celebrates the African ICT Achievers and their continuing role in contributing to making this the century for Africa.

The categories are divided mainly into organisational and individual awards. For a full list of categories, please visit and fill out the appropriate nomination form at
