Redsaid! :) Without a doubt.

1st runner up: Yebo

2nd runner up: iMod

Redsaid, although she submitted her entry rather late, she came up and overtook the rest with her awesome creative genius. Thanks for sharing that with us.

Thanks also to the others who submitted their entries and who voted.

  2. Chris M says:

I just realised, we get SA Rocks T-shirts at least Yebo :)

  3. Yasser says:

    Congratulations to Resaid,
fanstastic Post to be honest, you really deserve to win :-)

  4. Yasser says:

and the new Theme looks EPIC!!
    more than impressive!!!

  5. redsaid says:

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! (I’ve just made a sound so high-pitched that only dogs, bats and whales could hear it.)

No way! I honestly can’t believe it!

Apart from the fact that I entered soooo late in the day, all the others easily write rings around me. So thank you very much, hey! Good job to all the others – especially Yebo and iMod. In this case it was DEFINITELY not a case of the best writer winning. Just pure dumb luck. (And a few people who voted under duress from myself and my roommate.)

Seriously, you guys just ABSOLUTELY made my entire year!!!

  6. Chris M says:

It was awesome to read a your posts bloggers, creative and inspiring writing all around!

I hope to find another competition like this, anything to push me to be slightly creative is fantastic.

    Enjoy your prize Redsaid! :-)

  7. Next time I should probably put more restrictions on the entries. As they say, creativity loves constraints.
This one was wide open and was probably overwhelming in it’s scope.

  8. Chris M says:

It was good fun, and we learn from what we do, so perhaps the next one can be more specific? I don’t mind, I just enjoyed escaping the world for an hour and being creative, and I got a free SA Rocks tee for it – what could be better ;)

  9. yebo says:

hey, umm…. Congrats to you Redsaid,
    you deserve to win!!!!

    keep postin! ;-)

  10. redsaid says:

Thank you, Yebo! Congratulations again to you and iMod as well. You guys were stiff competition. I only won because I received a few more (sympathy!) votes, not because I’m the better writer!

You guys should never stop writing either.

And thanks again to the Web AddiCT(s)! I’m still walking on air… Which is rather remarkable, because I’m not the smallest girl around! ;-)

  11. Chris M says:

Let’s just hope they decide on another creative writing competition soon :)

  12. Chris M says:

What ever happened to my t-shirt :(

  13. Did you not get it yet? I forwarded you postal address info to Nic at SA Rocks way back when, so he should have sent it. I’ll email him again to double check.
