You might have seen that yesterday I uploaded a banner into the sidebar of our blog for Blog Action Day.
So what’s this all about? Here is their promotional video.
On October 15th, bloggers around the web will unite to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind – the environment. Every blogger will post about the environment in their own way and relating to their own topic.
You can participate too, by doing any of the following:
- Post on your blog relating to the environment on Blog Action Day
- Donate your day’s earnings to an environmental charity
- Promote Blog Action Day around the web
So far there are nearly 5,000 blog that are participating. Not much considering the size of the blogosphere, but there are certainly some big name participating. Go check it out.

Hello!
I think this try.
i have an idea how to stop pollution in the canal where i stay but i dnt know wat to do who to go to pls rpl
Hey there Nathaniel,
I’m not really sure where you stay or know anything about your plan, so I can’t really say, but I would think the best thing to do is to write your plan down and present it to a socially/environmentally responsible company in order for them to sponsor you the resources to accomplish your plan to clean up the canal near you.
Otherwise you can submit your plan to non-profit organistion that does the kind of thing your plan proposes and then request to oversee that it gets done.
Either way I think you should ovesee the cleaning up of the canal, because noone will feel as strongly about cleaning up the canal as you do (I’m assuming as you are commenting here).
