I’ve already collected over 700 hundred great wallpapers from around the web, which I randomly cycle through whenever the mood strikes me. Suffice it to say I really like desktop wallpapers. It’s really a form of art in my opinion.
So, in the spirit of the Christmas season, I thought I’d like to share my favorite sources for wallpapers.
- Most notably first of all, Vladstudio. I was most impressed when I first saw his wallpapers, they’re truly works of art, and he amazingly enough keeps turning out more and more top quality wallpapers on a regular basis.
- I use webshots to manage and rotate my wallpapers and they also have a large collection of really nice, professional wallpaper photos, which I check regularly.
- Two more other source of wallpapers I really recommend, although I don’t check them that often is WallpaperStock and deviantART. They both have some great wallpapers you can browse and download. Go check them out also.

Thing is it’s not just about the wallpaper. It’s the whole desktop package. Exactly what your desktop looks like.
Chris at Imod gave us a glimpse into his desktop the other day. Personally mines quite Mac’ish.. what with a dock and all.
I agree. I used to have the Aquanox windows xp theme for a long, but since the hard drive crashed on my laptop last month and I had to reinstall everything from scratch, so now I got my same windows xp with a vista theme pack. I dare not install windows vista.
