So WordPress decided to skip version 2.4 and go straight from version 2.3.x to 2.5.
WordPress is scheduled for release on the 10th March, and then later this year 2.6 in July and 2.7 in November according to their roadmap.
There was a demo site up and openly available so you could take it for a test drive, but that quickly became hacked, so it’s not working now.
There a some new user features in version 2.5, but most notable is the following (The ones with links are those that I got screenshots of before the test site got buggered.)
- Updated Design
- Revamped Dashboard
- New Widget Interface
- New Media Uploader
- Revamped Write Dialog Screen
- The new way of adding and deleting tags
