You hit the nail on the head Rafiq. It is these time based pricing models that is keeping myself and I’m sure many others from using them instead of 3G/HSDPA. and yep, so 1.0 indeed.

Gosh, imagine somebody who is logging on rushing to respond to an e-mail just to prevent a high WIFI bill?

How about a t-shirt based on those WIFI detect t-shirts where the Skyrove logo lights up when it detects a Skyrove hotspot? hehe

Glen TYFYC. Your question is great, I think time based pricing for a service like this reminds me of dial-up. We all know what happened to dial-up don’t we?

Why use a pricing structure that smells so 1.0 on a service that they themselves are embracing 2.0 to get the word out?

What is the benefit of the time based pricing model of WIFI hotspots compared to a cost per data transferred model that, for example, Skyrove, offers?
