Thank you for the informative comment. I came across this while trying to find the location of the Mac store in the waterfront to go and purchase a MacBook pro and a iMac tomorrow, I have decided not to go but will rather settle for incredible connection in somerset mall and dion wired. I would have liked the apple experience in purchasing these great products but will not indulge the owner(s) of that branch. It’s about time people get held accountable for bad service in this country, in these times people should be going the extra mile to please customers!!!

Couldnt even get hold of the apple store on the phone!
Can someone tell me if there is an improved Ipad II scheduled for release prior to the launch of the Ipad III?

hie i just bought a new i phone 4 am went in store to get connected the service i got there was a shitty one all the people were to busy to help me i thought maybe it was becoz am black the guy you served me the first time kept telling me to wait whilst he served the white customers i felt like shit. i wanted to get rid of my new phone untill the Guy called Garrath helped me out who listened to what i had to say answered all my questions and help me till i left a happy customer i want to recommended me for the employee of the month.Garrath you a great thanks

Just a quick FYI. iStore’s and their staff are NOT Apple. They are just licensed to sell Apple products

A week or so ago (around mid May 2011) I purchased the new iMac from the Waterfront iStore. Stefano took my phone order and kept me an iMac. When I arrived at the store Stefano was there to help me. I had technical questions. I waited about 1min. for Kevin to help me. He answered all my technical questions, and his advice worked. I was running between Incredible Connection and the iStore, as the iStore did not have some of the cables I was looking for. Every time I returned Stefano was ready to assist and advise me further. I told Stefano about the terrible reputation the store has on the internet. I went online with him in the store and showed him the comments on the internet. My experience was great. I trust that the iStore has recovered and that the good service I had will be experienced by all the other people that use the store.

Poor poor service. Stood around for half an hour to be noticed – tried to put my name on a waiting list for an IPad 2, they did not do waiting lists.
Today I was told they only sell their IPad to people on the waiting list.
Please replace the staff.!!!!

haven’t really experienced service good or bad yet , as only been there once and just browsed. But i would like to say with all the negative comments as reflected here – why on earth doesn’t management do something about it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as a business buyer i found the service to be pathetic, istore V&A you just lost out on a extensive apple hardware sale because of your incompetence. If anyone wants to buy apple products please go elsewhere….

Digicape is just as bad.
Ordered a wacum pen & touch drawing tablet. Nobody ever phones to keep me upated although i have requested so several times. Everytime i walk into the store they act like they don’t know me, even if i was there just yesterday to see if my wacum has arrived. Poor communication with suppliers as well as customers. Staff seems to know less about the products than i do.

Looking for other stores now which sell the wacum Bamboos.
