South African Blog survey results: a sneak preview

Comments 27 November 2008

24.com will be releasing the blog survey results on Monday, but Your Web AddiCT wanted to give you a sneak peek on one of the more interesting discoveries. Embedded is a slide above I found it really interesting how many are newbies (about 40% with a year or less of blogging) vs veterans (a good 7 or 8% chose “over four years”). I think it’s a good sign for the industry.

As a whole the survey got over 1,000 responses, which is a great result considering there are probably only 6-8000 active bloggers in SA. They will also be profiling five bloggers from across the blogosphere – so look out for the release on Monday if you’re interested.
