View Comments 05 January 2009

Want to be able to chat to visitors who are currently browsing your blog or website as they surf? The Hab.la Service allows you to converse with visitors on your blog in real time using you IM. Similar to Meebome except you can chat to users on your blog or website via your IM program (Jabber or Google Talk) instead of having to log into another website. When a chat window opens up you are notified of the URL the conversation was invoked from, sweet.

Live Chat using Habl.la will be available at the bottom right of this blog for the next few days to test the service. If you are readign this via RSS come say hi to Your Web AddiCT(s); in real time via the site :) Too much effort? Follow on twitter here.

  1. Pretty cool, though it doesn’t show your status!

Also, afaik, MeeboMe also works with Jabber.

  2. TYFYC Henk. Yes is works with jabber too but last time i checked you couldn’t use meebome from your IM. You had to go to the meebo website to chat to visitors on your site.
