My argument is that you should not need to install more than one package for one program to work.

For R100 k my program would give sexual pleasure whilst installing.

It should run under Mac OS X provided you have Gtk installed. I don’t have a Mac to test it on, so I couldn’t offer installation instructions but basically you just need Python and Gtk and you are away. Sound notification, etc. require more packages.

There is a windows binary version packaged that includes everything you need to run BlendIt (it requires no installation).

You might possibly also require the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistribution Package (there’s a link in the Windows readme file)

That is a bit lame if you ask me. I though they wanted a PC app not an app that would run on machine with “web software” installed.

However maybe MXIT could think about it a bit, host the app on their server and use something like Adobe Air as an interface

MXit didn’t develop the program. That guy Chris Stranex did. It was up to the contestants to make the installers and what what. I’m sure they’ll pretty the things up in the future though.

That’s pretty complex installation instructions. Aren’t MXit going to package it nice and neatly into a install.exe so the noobs can install and run it easily?

Would be cool if they could then port it to Mac too.
