Since the 27th of September 2009 there has been a beta version of MXit available for any Android based phones. HTC, OpenMoko etc.
MXit Android V0.9 Beta is available on the Android Marketplace.
To install MXit on your Android phone
- select “Market”
- “Applications”
- “Social”
- Do a search for MXit in the social category.
You also might need to install the Marketplace on your phone first. The Marketplace is available at the leaf website: Android Market I am unable to show you any screen shot of MXit Android 0.9 beta as a do not have an Android handset yet. Mxit app beta does not work on Android. it does not log in to the server and needs to be upgraded.
I've been searching for MXit in Marketplace as instructed but it doesn't show up!
mxit doesn't work on my super cool htc tattoo android and the fact that mxit keeps on denying that irritates the fuck out of me. the is no mxit in the android market i just wish mxit could just fix the problem cuz damn i miss my mxit buddies
