I really didn’t hear too many good reviews about watching in 3D, which I know isn’t what your article is about, but thought I’d mention it regardless. Have you spoken to anyone who’s watched in 3D?

I’m actually very interested to know what other peoples experiences were like before thinking of attending “Have you watched a World Cup match in 3D yet? Would love to know your experience.” in the end of the post :)

Jason Bagley did a really good review of his experience on his website (http://www.jasonbagley.com/2010/06/19/nu-metro-3d-soccer/), racked up quite a few interesting comments as well..

    Sorry to link drop!

Thanks for sharing the link Chris. Mixed reactions so far it appears.

No problem, it’s good to hear that the reactions are mixed though, leaves some hope! :)

You going to go to one?

As you can see from my post, quite a few mixed reactions. My main gripe was there was no commentary, but from others that have watched there is!

To be honest, even if there was commentary, unless the cinema is packed with people supporting, the atmosphere is dead. Watching sport in 3D is cool, but sharing the game with a bunch of supporters is way cooler.
