Your Web AddiCT(s); first 6 or 7 mobile phones were all Nokia. The folks over at Ringaz, Nokia’s blog have allowed me to run a contest giving one of the awesome readers of this blog an opportunity to win the awesome Nokia N8.

But the real good news is that cash orders for the Nokia N8 are now open online through the guys from OnlineStuff at: www.nokiastuff.co.za. And just for added good cheer, the phone will retail on the site for just R4 799.99, including delivery. For those who have waited long enough and just can’t wait anymore, get your orders in post haste and you can stand a chance to receive a free one hour consultation on the ins and outs of the Nokia N8. The first 1 000 orders received in metro areas will receive a visit from a butler, who will offer you advice on how to set up the phone and activate its services, as well as demonstrating all the cool features. You will also get to pick a free silicone cover for your Nokia N8, variety of colours are available for you to choose from.

Winners will be contacted via the email address provided in the comments section or the cellphone number provided in the SMS competitions sign-up.
Entries received after 12:00pm 26th September will be disqualified.

The best feature would be that it it new and exiting, yet old and reliable.
Symbian 3 combines a host of new and exiting features, but for people who have used previous Nokia devices, the phone will have a familiar feel to it.

Flash Lite 4.0 . All because the iPhone does not have flash. How can a phone not have flash (yet) … little flash games = money = win win.

Saw a vid on the web where you can turn your LCD TV into a touch screen using the camera and HDMI cable on the N8 . Wow, the possibilities are endless for that sort of app. Making mobile presentations far more accessable

You can access CNN, which can help you stay up to date with all the latest news, and if you’re ever stuck somewhere without something to do, there’s always the internet. You’re able to browse Youtube videos to amuse yourself, and there’s the Touch UI which you can use to play games.
Plug in your headphones and you can browse through your music, or just simply listen to your favourite radio station. And who needs a Garmin or TomTom when you have GPS on your Nokia, voice-guided and free

Well I would enjoy the 12 Mega pixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens, as many of you do not yet know Carl Zeiss has been top of the market for lenses since 1934 in our South Africa and has been around even longer in Europe. This lens providing a resolution of 4000×3000 (and has a xenon flash) is the biggest yet seen by a phone and I am sure will not dissapoint!

Video on the N8 is the best in class. Sure, other phones can record video at 720p, but not all of them can play it back complete with 5.1 Dolby surround sound over an HDMI cable. The N8 can.

The N8 has a built-in graphics processor, which, combined with its accelerometer, means that 3D games don’t just look good, even when shown on a large HDTV, they’re extremely intuitive to play as well.
