What do Beads have to do with Web 2.0 & AJAX?
At BarCamp this Friday Iรยขรขโยฌรขโยขll be giving an interactive talk on รยขรขโยฌร โMarketing 2.0รยขรขโยฌรยณ (social media marketing, bootstrapping, word-of-mouth etc) using case studies from Stormhoek Wine, and Caffeine in Seapoint(You can bring my muffin to BarCamp), and Bead4need.
Getting excited about BarCamp CapeTown I am.
The Bead4Need Team is a group of young dynamic business leaders in the corporate environment that want to make a difference in the lives of many Southern Africans. Ian, Navin, Fenias, Roger, AK and Gerrit are in a similar struggle, a race against the sun, against time.
The Bead4Need Race against Time has one simple objective, รยขรขโยฌร โTo raise $10,000 before 16 June 2006รยขรขโยฌ?. Every last cent of this money will be channelled into The CIDA City Campus that aspires to making a sustainable difference in the lives of the disenfranchised people in Southern Africa.
So thats what beads have to do with Web 2.0. I find it very interresting that the AJAX shopping cart we’ve built will be used to sell beads ๐ So thats what beads have to do with Web 2.0 and AJAX.
