Do Personalised Pages + Your RSS = improved SERPs?
With My Yahoo!, My MSN & Google’s personalised homepage allowing you to plug any RSS feed any which way you wish to subscribe to a site and keep your Web AddiCTion up to date. Will/does this affect your ranking in the Big 3’s SERP?
With YOU being the most imporatant factor in Business/Web2.0. If the search engines haven’t already (I’m pretty sure they will) factored in who subscribes to your RSS feed via their personalised pages into their (Yahoo, MSN, Google) algorythm some time of another.
If this is or is going to be true their are a few things to consider:
- Tell the world about your RSS feed (I’ve added 2 of the 3 to the sidebar & to this post. MSN had no help & it wasn’t available on feedburner either)
- You and all your friends/family/staff should use all 3 & plug all your clients/own RSS into your seperate accounts ๐
- Would using an external service, like feedburner, ‘dilute’ your domains authority on a certain subject? Yes, the links lead to your domain but they do not really come from your domain they’ll be fed by the domain used by your feed burning service provider.
Yes this post flew over many of your heads. I’m talking to the intelligentsia who made sense of the mathematical equation in the title without needing to define: anything. Your 2 AdCents will be greatly appreciated.
