How to use your own domain URL with Feedburner 👐 Web AddiCT 🇿🇦

Those of you that know me know i love Web Stats. Feedburner is sweet when it comes to RSS stats. Llew (socialnetresearch) switched over to feedburner & I suggested he implement the 301 redirect but unless you’re Miguel or myself thats easier said than done. You could alter the core WordPress files and your .htaccess to redirect your RSS subscribers to your new feedburner URL or you could use this WordPress Feedburner plugin to do all the work for you. Why re-invent the wheel right?

It takes this https://webaddict.co.za/blog/feed and redirects you to this http://feeds.feedburner.com/AGroupOfWebAddicts, no mess, no coding & hopefully no hicups.

Yo. The plugin works like a charm, and is a must have regardless of whether you set up your blog from scratch or switch to Feedburner midstride. The plugin will write to your .htaccess for you, PROVIDED it is writeable. Sometimes, some of my clients have got a little stuck here when their .htaccess isn’t writeable, and theplugin can’t complete the process on it’s own.

However, I’m inherently dof with all this rot so speak to Rafiq if you need help :).
