Is IOL on a MXit manhunt?

As per my MXit version 5 comment, MXit hit the front page of the Cape Argus yesterday, 23 August 2006.

The IOL headlines are fed to Your Group of Web AddiCT(s); via RSS as they happen, of course. Who still buys the newspaper? Alot of people, actually & what sells more papers than ‘bad’ news?

With headlines like ‘Pupil cell-craze messaging worries’ or ‘Schools seek to ban AddiCTive MXit’, you’re sure to attract over 1,3 million MXit users, and their parents, attention.

The first blog I ever read, The Size Issue makes me very wary of IOL headlines. Are they jumping on the MXit band-wagon to sell more papers or is there another reason?

MXit is a low-cost communication tool. While you’re at it lets ban the internet in schools too as MXit runs on the internet.

I’m ending this post with an old with old English proverb: A poor workman blames his tools, lets adapt to change and not fight it as the only constant is, afterall, change.
