PHP for President
After filling out the sitepoint web developer survey, State of Web Development 2006, i got back the results the other day. The developer survey was completed out by over 5000 web developers around the world making it the most comprehensive survey of web developers to date.
There was some not so surprising results mixed with some suprising results, like only 26.03% of the web developers surveyed maintain their own blog. Why’s that?
And guess what’s the most developed for server platform… duh! PHP.
On that note, I accidentally found out about a PHP user group meetup happening tomorrow in Cape Town, actually the first ever. Isn’t it weird how things seem to just fall in place.
If you’re a web developer wanting to join in on the Cape Town PHP Meetup you’d better hurry there is only room for one more, as they are only accepting 15 people to the meeting initialy.
If you can’t make it, don’t worry though, we’ll let you know what happens. What are Cape Town web developers taking about? More tomorrow night.
