Breakfast, we wont be attending but we’re receivng certificates, sweet. I wonder what happenes when the winners are announced? A dinner maybe 🙂
Your Web AddiCT did a telephone interview, speaker phone with the 6 judges. One of the things Miguel & I did was to prepare for the Top African ICT youth Innovator interview the night before by reviewing the questions asked during the nomination process & jotting the key points down on the whiteboard.
What do you know, the judges asked axactly the same questions in exactly the same order as the nomination form we had to complete. So there I was answering the questions with the answers infront of my very eyes. Luck? We were prepared. IMM2.0, the Geek Marketer, says the following in his post ‘Prepared to speak‘:
A well prepared presentation shows respect for your audience and their time. It also helps calm your nerves.
