In the many years of chat via MSN, IRC, Jabber (Google Talk, Jabber.org, Jabber Africa) never have I come accross ppl asking your ASLR until… MXit

WTF? What does ASL mean?

This is an acronym for age/sex/location which is a frequent question that people ask when chatting online. People that ask such in this fashion are often not very sophisiticated or good with writing itself so this intro can help to weed them out.

So who adds R to ASL and makes it ASLR? South Africans that chat on MXit that’s who. What does the R stand for? Race, of all things to ask in a medium where all our chats are in the same colour. There are people who want to know what colour the fingers are that are typing the MXit messages…
