You need to register your new australian mible number, don’t forget you international access code before the number then invite your friends as mxit contacts on your new mobile number in australia.

I downloaded my Java application, aswell as the mxit prog, but the powerplayer doesn’t wanna download. Is there a nother program i can use, i even tried downloading another version, but then i just have trouble with the zipfiles…

Hi There, I am trying to install mix it for my brother who is on holiday with myself in london. I have never heard of mix it before, up until now. I’ve installed java, and the mpowerplayer comes up, but it doesn’t give me the main menu page, where I can log in?…I have registered before, and was able to chat, but nothing is coming up. Super Post. Great video. Very helpful. The only thing (yes very blond) that I took some time to realise was that I needed to use my Keyboard to move around instead of the mouse, occasionally.

I have had mxit on my old computer and it worked perfectly, but I have a new laptop and I’m trying to run mxit but t just says “logging in” – I don’t know what to do, I’ve tried everything you suggest, including deleting the temp files. Could the fact that i now have Vista be the issue?

i am the biggest MXit fan. i think i have an addiction with MXit.MXit is the best i get to chat with my friends who i haven’t see in ages. i even meet cute guys at the mall and i now chat to them on MXit. MXit is cheaper than SMS thats whats to gud about it. anyway get MXit and i tell you, you won’t regret it. MWAH

You can skip the process of redownloading the mxit file by making the file you downloaded “read only”. This will prevent mxit from using the time stamp on the file.. = )

hey! i would like to say that mXit is the best thing that ever happened to me… even when you sitting around really bored with your life, you just log on and get chatting! it’s an easy, cheap and smart way to chat to your friends! only intelligent peole like the mXit staff can come up with a cool way to chat to your friends… my parents often tell me that im addicted to my phone.. but i guess its mXit that im addicted to! well, all i want to say is keep up the great work. i guess all the teens around S.A highly appreciate it! thank you!

Bruce, There is another way, I’m not 100% sure on the exact method but just try, and if you have trouble I shall look into it.

Download Jabber on your PC, Its an IM App That you can add your MXit contacts to. All you have to do is goto add new contact, and add it in this format: 27(your contacts number)@mxit.co.za.

I would like to correct my previous statement.

Download Pidgin, its an IM that supports Jabber, Gtalk, Msn, etc.

Now to add your MXit contacts add them as a jabber contact and put the address as 27(Contacts Number Here)@mxit.co.za

St John Hwzit! i thnk im blond! lol! (sorry blondies)..mwah.. i cant seem 2 register a new numba! when i log in it stil comes up wth my old numba and cnt change it anywhr going thru the process carefully! afta i open the jad file in mplaya it opens mxit bt nowhere does it ask me 2 enter my cell number. ( it is blocked out on the login screen. ) 1 other thing … i hav a S/ericson v600i.. i selected NOKIA 6230 n 6230i n says this phone only supports v5.3 and wud like 2 use 5.4… u’ve been a great help bud!

To your first question:

Once you register once with Mpowerplayer you cannot change your number or RE-register.

I’m busy working on a new way to run MXit on your PC that lets your RE-register on each launch, Will keep you posted;)

It looks like your Phone doesn’t support the new version…. 🙁
