A Question for each of Quirk’s new Interns
Last year Rob Stokes got the ball rolling for Quirk’s internship program in 2000 and sheaven.
For a while now, a bunch of us in the South African eMarketing industry have been reviewing the small resource pool of real online marketing smarts in the prospective employee arena.
A few days ago Darren Reaves welcomed the new Quirk interns:
Well, this week, theรโร Cape Town QuirkStation welcomes some fresh new talent, Carlos and Tristan.รโร Handpicked from a pretty impressive group, they are the first in what may become an annual internship program.
Last night Tristan Owen said Saluton Mondo on the Quirk blog:
As an intern, this insight can be overwhelming at times, as I am sure less tech savvy clients view the technical jargon and eMarketing parlance. The important thing for me is that eMarketing is one of the most exciting and rewarding marketing strategies of the twentieth century. I canรยขรขโยฌรขโยขt wait to see it in action.
Your Web AddiCT would like to officially welcome the new fish to the pond and seeing that there are two interns at Quirk, Your Web AddiCT has two question for Tristan & Carlos.
- What is this http://juice.quirk.co.za/client/editmention.q? Somewhere at the bottomรโร of awstats’ Links from an external page (other web sites except search engines) this keeps popping up. What/Why/how do you use this and how does it apply to emarketing at Quirk?
- Why does the Quirk blog not accept pings/trackbacks from other blogs? There are 3 trackbacks comming Quirk’s way with this post just to demonstrate how they are used. A seasoned Quirk blogger/comment moderator should be able to show you where you are able to view, moderate & approve the trackbacks sent your way.
There you have it, 2 new emarketing interns, 2 questions regarding emarketing. All that is missing now is 2 answers.
Welcome to Your New World ๐
Yo, celebrate the new life
New ways to make money
New ways to break dummies
Forge they name and take money
Computers ain’t that smart
Whatever man built could be taken apart
Anything new can get old
