The Samsung D900 is going to a TED Fellow in Tanzania
Just before TED Global 2007 Samsung gave Tertia, Deshanta, Aquila & Your Web AddiCT a mobile phone to test drive, sorry text drive.
After 3 months of blogging the winner, as voted for by you, would get too keep their Samsung mobile phone. Decided to change the rules a bit and said that I’d give my mobile to TED Fellow Joachim in Tanzania if I won.
Harinjaka, Eyedol and Imnakoya doubted that I would. I did too seeing that i was up against South Africa’s queen blogger Tertia.
TED‘s tagline is ‘Ideas worth spreading’ and it appears that Daniel Lamberti of the Samsung Mobile phone division dugg the idea of giving the phone away 🙂
Rafiq, I liked your article about donating your phone to Joachim, the lad you met at TED Global, and think this would be a great idea. If you can get me his address and contact details, I will courier the Samsung D900 phone you were testing out to him

The Samsung guestbloggers who were involved in an earlier competition have nominated charities to which they’d like the Samsung i600 Blackjack and E250 to be donated.
