Innovative ways to save time on mundane tasks
Good ideas spread, and here’s company that’s come up with a good viral marketing campaign, unlike so many that try and fail.
Sprint Ahead, US mobile telecommunications company, has started Waitless.org, a website that illustrates the amount of time we waste on tedious daily tasks. They have created some cool video clips to promote their unlimited calling plan which starts at 7pm rather than the standard 9pm, saving you 2 hours of waiting a day. Ready to stop waiting?
A key feature of this website is that it allows the general public, the consumer as such, to submit their own nifty time saving tricks, or Sprintcuts as theyรยขรขโยฌรขโยขre aptly called. This can be done in video format on their Youtube page or in the written word. (Because not everybody has the time for shooting a video)
I probably wouldn’t recommend doing the car trick below, but the other video’s they have posted look pretty neat, like peeling a boiled egg or a potato in under 10 seconds, or getting that irritating sticky beach sand off you really quickly, or even some as simple and mundane as tying your shoelaces really quickly.
You can then subscribe to receive these useful time savers by rss or e-mail. Great marketing strategy, providing value while promoting your brand.
