A while back I mentioned a musician, Kina Grannis, who created song dedicated to Digg, the social news website. This earned her a lot of attention, plenty of Diggs 🙂 and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was because of that song that she was voted as a finalist for the Doritos Crash The Super Bowl Contest.

I’ve been following her blog and voting for her since I last wrote about it. I think it would be really cool for if she won the contest. It would be a great story, a testimony to the power of social media (not that she isn’t good in her own right).

The winner of the Crash The Super Bowl Contest gets an Interscope Records contract and will make a 60 second music video which will air during a super bowl commercial break, which is basically a dream come true for any musician.
