More Innovations I love
I haven’t posted in a while now, but I’ve seen soo many innovations online that I think are really brilliant that I wanted to share with you.
Aside from Nokia’s Morph (forget the iPhone! I want a Morph) here are some of the stuff I’m looking forward to seeing becoming a reality:
The Air Car
Competing for the Automotive X Prize, Zero Pollution Motors brings you the Air Car. That’s right the car that runs on fresh (compressed) air and emits fresh air and can go over 90 mph (about 144 kmph). It will only be coming out in the US in 2010, but hey, that’s a good start. Maybe, some day we’ll see a hybrid solar powered/air powered car. ๐
The Auto X Prize is run by the same X Prize Foundation that ran the Ansari X Prize, won by Burt Rutan and financier Paul Allen of Mojave Aerospace Ventures, and their SpaceShipOne. Now Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic will be flying people up into space commercially as soon as next year. Hopefully we see the same about of drive behind the Air Car.
VR PC Monitor / Game Console TV Display’s
I had a look at another one of Jonny Lee‘s Wii Remote experiments, and I’m really like his VR (Virtual Reality) Head Tracking for desktop displays using a Wii Remote. It looks absolutely surreal. Check it out. You might want to skip the talking for the first half of the video and skip to the good stuff towards the end ๐
I look forward to seeing other Wii Remote experiment from him.
There’s more great and interesting stuff, but I’ll leave it at that for now.
