Since the 27th of September 2009 there has been a beta version of MXit available for any Android based phones. HTC, OpenMoko etc.

MXit Android V0.9 Beta is available on the Android Marketplace.

To install MXit on your Android phone

  • select “Market”
  • “Applications”
  • “Social”
  • Do a search for MXit in the social category.

You also might need to install the Marketplace on your phone first. The Marketplace is available at the leaf website: Android Market I am unable to show you any screen shot of MXit Android 0.9 beta as a do not have an Android handset yet. If any of you reading this would like to donate an Android Phone *Cough* HTC Magic or HTC Tattoo *Cough* to your Web AddiCT(s); please get in touch.
