TEDx Cape Town – November
Look’s like its that time of year in Cape Town with events worth attending coming up left, right and center. A pretty cool 27dinner at Societi.co.za
Tomorrow we’ll be attending the Google Maps event at UCT. This should be very useful seeing that Google Maps South Africa has just been updated. An update to Google Maps doesn’t just mean we’ll be able to get better driving directions in Cape Town. IT effects how your do online marketing and SEO too.
On Saturday the Mobile Tech 4 Social Change event takes place at Cell Life, CPUT Barc Building, 80 Roeland Street Cape Town. Then on November 5th another TEDx Cape Town event will be happening.
What is TEDx Cape Town?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is call TEDx (place), where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDx (place) event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
