#mxit7 – What’s New?
MXit have been very quiet of late and some of you might have forgotten all about one of Africa’s tech success stories. They’re still around and will be launching a new version, mxit v7, pretty soon.
This is a developing story and Your Web AddiCT(s); will soon have access t the MXit Android version apk for a proper review of everything new in mxit version 7. The first thing well notice is the new logo above. Stay tuned.
Add Web AddiCT(s); on mxit by simply adding ‘rafiq’ as an app.
In 24 hours #mxit7 will be available on J2ME devices. I’m really glad MXit haven’t forgotten where they came from allowing feature phone users first access to the new MXit version.

We are launching Mxit 7 for feature phones on Tuesday, 12 November 2013.
Mxit 7 is a significant departure from previous versions. It offers a more engaging and faster chat experience, easier navigation and a clean, sleek user interface.
We are really excited about what this means for our users – the people who use YOUR brand app on Mxit!
Mxit v7 Updates include:
- Groups: easily create groups, chat with multiple friends and share photos and sound clips.
- Chat tabs: quickly switch between different group and private chats.
- Richer profiles: profiles on feature phones look better than ever with larger cover images and extended profile information.
- Offline messages: feature phones that support push notifications will now receive offline chat messages.
- Automatic upgrades: users will be informed when new versions of Mxit become available, bringing this traditional smartphone feature to lower-end phones.
- Data-light: Mxit 7 uses even less data and is lighter on memory usage than previous versions.
