Hello from #SMX Advanced Seattle
Before you start reading, click play on this somewhat classical artist I’ve recently discovered. Wim Marten’s Often a Bird is the best way to get the bubblegum stuck in your head after listening to all the different radio stations playing the same music over and over, unstuck.
30+ hours of travel later… from Cape Town, via Dubai, to Seattle and tomorrow’sย hello wwworld will be from SMX Advanced 2014. So here I find myself, peaking at the Space Needle from the desk in my room. Catching up on email blogging before getting the first proper sleep in 3 days. Why have I traveled to Seattle for 4 consecutive years? To sharpen my search marketing axe of course. Looking at the results & growth of the projects I’ve been involved utilising techniques & strategies picked up at previous SMX events I’d happily book trips to Seattle for SMX over the next few years again. Who’s joining me?
Being airborne and offline for so many hours has been an amazing experience which has allowed me to think and dream without hyper text transfer distractions or the assistance of hybrid thinking. What is Hybrid Thinking?
Think I’m going to get offline more when I return home. To stay up to date with the latest and greatest in search marketing and social follow the #SMX hashtag everywhere you’d expect. If you’re at SMX and want to connect say hi on twitter @rafiq…. now it’s time to sleep.
