Get Off the Couch!
I’m sure you’re still sitting down and if you were anywhere near a Samsung LED Smart TV, I would suggest downloading the Personal Fit – Stretching for Running app to get your butt off that couch. The app even includes all the stretching/warm up exercises required before road running. This is the most important part of any fitness program.
As previously mentioned, I’ve been using this app for a while so I installed it on the Samsung S4 Active (that was delivered along with the TV) and synced it with my personal running data on my own Android phone.
This is definitely worth measuring.
I’ve used the couch to 5k running system in the past but programmed it into the micoach app based on this website. Now, there’s a couch to 5k running app available, as explained in this video. I watched it on TV (on the Youtube app), using youtube.com/pair which allows you to mirror whatever’s on your phone so that you can watch it on your TV. Here’s how to get it right in 4 steps:
- Go to the YouTube app on your Samsung TV.
- Under “Settings” find the “Pair Device” option.
- Enter the pairing code shown on the TV into the box below.
- Click the new icon that now appears on your youtube video & select the Samsung LED Smart TV on which your video will play.
