Track Bitcoin & other Cryptocurrencies with 22seven
I’ve posted about the awesome financial app 22seven many times before and today they’ve announced the ability to track your Bitcoin and other Crypto assets with the app. Will Old Mutual’s 22seven be the first Bitcoin Bank in South Africa? This sure makes me think that.

22seven now lets you link over 1800 crypto coins for price tracking.
We have all the fan favourites like BitCoin, BitCoin Cash, Litecoin and Ethereum. And use CoinMarketCap prices and Open Exchange Rates to estimate what your coins are worth in Rand. We’ll track these prices over time as part of your regular account updates. But you can get price updates as often as every 15 minutes if you like.

How To add your crypto coins to 22seven:
- Log into 22seven and visit the Accounts tab
- Tap on the + button and choose “Add manual account”
- Select “Account Type” and choose “Cryptocurrency” from the list, then tap on the back button
- You’ll now see an option to “+ Add a coin.” Choose as many as you want and tap on “DONE”.
- Enter the number of coins you have under each coin name and tap “Next”
- Choose an icon to represent your account and tap on “Next”
- If you’re happy with your account details, tap on the “Confirm” button to create your account.
